The Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere has felicitated with the newly elected President of Nigeria Union of Journalists, Mr. Abdulwaheed Odusile.

Prince Madumere described Odusile as a Professional whose years of experience would help steer the body to a greater height.

He likened Odusile’s consistency in pursuit of opportunity to contribute his quota to the development of the profession to that of President Buhari who sought to bring change to governance in Nigeria. He said he is happy Mr. Odusile understands the profession as the fourth estate of the realm.

He charged him and other members of the leadership to be courageous towards injecting discipline while ensuring that welfare and safety of the members are secure.

He therefore commended the entire NUJ national delegates who participated in the last convention for conducting themselves in a very responsible and peaceful manner during the keenly contested election.
